Children & families

Attachment-focused, trauma-informed interventions for families affected by breakdown, conflict, mistrust and adverse experiences. Work may include children, parents, foster carers and adoptive families.

Court & legal

Assessment & expert work

Clinical assessments and expert witness reports concerning family systems, with experience of Family Court and Cafcass instructions in Dorset and Hampshire.

Schools & social care

Consultation and support

Therapeutic support for children and young people, consultation around complex presentations, and work with the adults and systems around the child.

Trauma-informed counselling and support for organisations and employees. Guy is also registered with Bupa, Vitality, Aviva and AXA.

Professional background

Experience across therapy, education and family justice.

Guy has practised for more than 20 years in settings that include GP surgeries, London schools, the NHS, local authorities, private practice and the Family Court. He has held clinical leadership responsibility within a multi-academy trust and supervises other therapists.

His DDP-informed family work and EMDR practice are supported by specialist supervision. Practice is insured and Guy subscribes to the DBS Update Service.
